I recently had the pleasure of staying at a unique accommodation in a stunning village location. The restoration of the property at Shed End, In 18Th Century Lothersdale Mill Bd20 8En was truly remarkable, creating a one-of-a-kind experience. I was blown away by the attention to detail and the unforgettable features of the property. The host, Jon, was absolutely fantastic and his tour of the Mill was a highlight of my stay. The surrounding area was also incredibly peaceful and beautiful, with easy access to attractions like Malham and Grassington.
While some might be concerned about the part glassed roof in the bedroom, I personally found it to add a unique touch to the accommodation.

The location of this hidden gem was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful scenery and steeped in history. We were delighted to meet the knowledgeable host, who even gave us a personal tour of the old mill. The fact that the hotel is located on the Pennine Way made it an ideal spot for exploring the area. We also loved the cozy log burner and the underfloor heating, which added to the romantic atmosphere of our stay.
While the high ceilings and old mill features were charming, they did make cleaning a bit challenging, resulting in some dust that bothered my allergies. The kitchen was also quite small, with limited workspace, but thankfully the nearby dining table came in handy.

Hidden Gem in a beautiful village. Amazing log fire & sky lights to see the stars. Spectacular mill renovation. Peaceful with a water stream. Underfloor heating was a real bonus. Attentive owner. Excellent food at the pub opposite.
Tiny lane to park for average or large cars. Bed was a little too soft.
